We first starting seeing them in films in the 1950s on Marlon Brando and James Dean, and we’ve loved them ever since. We now have hundreds of different styles and brands to choose from, so why would we stop wearing them? I love reading about 1940s and 1950s culture, history and fashion. I especially tend to be awestruck by many of the fashion trends that occurred throughout this period, but there is one particular fashion trend that makes me go “huh”?
